About the Role:

SAND-M Global is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior FP&A Analyst to play a crucial role in driving our financial strategy and supporting our continued growth.

Reporting to CEO, you will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, developing robust financial models, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing for FMCG:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key raw materials, considering the specific quality, volume, and frequency requirements of FMCG production.

Supplier Identification and Qualification (FMCG Focus):

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential raw material suppliers who can meet the high-volume, high-quality, and rapid delivery demands of an FMCG factory. This includes assessing their capacity, certifications (e.g., food safety), and adherence to ethical sourcing practices.

Negotiation and Contract Management (FMCG Context):

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and reliable supply agreements that align with the dynamic production needs of FMCG.

Purchase Order Management and Timely Delivery:

  • Generate and manage purchase orders efficiently, ensuring accurate specifications and timely delivery of raw materials to meet tight production deadlines. Proactively address potential delays and implement solutions.

Inventory Management for Continuous Production:

  • Monitor raw material inventory levels closely, implementing strategies to ensure optimal stock availability to prevent production disruptions while minimizing waste and storage costs in a fast-paced environment.

Quality Assurance Collaboration (FMCG Standards):

  • Work closely with quality control teams to ensure that all incoming raw materials meet stringent quality and food safety standards relevant to FMCG products. Manage supplier-related quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization (FMCG Speed):

  • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of raw materials, considering the urgency and volume associated with FMCG operations.

Market Analysis and Risk Management (FMCG Volatility):

  • Stay informed about market trends, price volatility, and potential supply chain risks specific to the raw materials used in FMCG production. Develop mitigation strategies to ensure a stable supply.

Supplier Relationship Management (Long-Term Partnerships):

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key raw material suppliers, fostering open communication and ensuring long-term partnerships that support the company's growth and agility.

Cost Optimization in an FMCG Environment:

  • Continuously identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in raw material procurement without compromising quality or supply reliability, crucial in the competitive FMCG market.

Compliance and Documentation (FMCG Regulations):

  • Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company policies, food safety regulations, and other relevant industry standards within the FMCG sector, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting (FMCG KPIs):

  • Track and analyze supplier performance against key metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, quality, cost), providing regular reports and identifying areas for improvement to support efficient FMCG operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration (FMCG Focus) :

  • Collaborate closely with production planning, quality assurance, R&D, and finance teams to ensure alignment on raw material specifications, demand forecasts, and production schedules in the fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in market research, preferably within a leading market research agency
  • Demonstrable expertise in consumer research methodologies and a strong understanding of how to uncover insights that drive product and marketing communication improvements.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to translate data and research findings into conceivable and actionable plans.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with the local consumer market dynamics in Thailand
