This position plays a critical role in managing the company's output tax operations, including verifying the accuracy of all output tax data, preparing statutory tax reports for submission to the Revenue Department, and updating or revising tax information in the SAP system. The role is essential to ensure accurate and timely tax submissions, full regulatory compliance, and proper financial reporting, making it a key function within the company's tax and accounting operations.
Your core responsibilities:
· Verify completeness and accuracy of all output tax transactions
· Prepare output tax reports and other related tax filings for submission to the Revenue Department
· Update and revise output tax data in the system
· Perform monthly reconciliation of output tax with GL accounts
· Coordinate with Sales, Credit control, and other departments to gather required tax documents
· Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries
· Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal company policies
Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned
· Accurate and timely output tax reports submitted to the Revenue Department
· Updated and correctly recorded output tax data in the SAP system
· Error-free monthly reconciliation reports between output tax and GL accounts
· Fully verified tax invoices and supporting documents ready for submission
· Complete and audit-ready documentation for external auditors
· Tax summary reports and analysis to support accounting
Full compliance with tax regulations and internal policies
Your profile:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
· 3-5 years of experience in tax or accounting
· Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage
· Good understanding of tax regulations (VAT/output tax, input tax, WHT)
· Experience using accounting systems.
· Strong communication and coordination skills
· High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail
· Tax or accounting training certificates are an advantage Knowledge of VAT regulations (input and output tax)
· Understanding of withholding tax requirements and related filings
· Skills in preparing output tax reports and monthly tax filings
· Proficiency in tax and GL reconciliation processes
· Experience with Accounting systems for tax recording and adjustments
· Basic accounting and month-end closing knowledge
· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Table, Data Validation)
· Knowledge of internal control standards related to tax and accounting
· Ability to prepare complete documentation for external audits
