About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (Consumer Fashion & Retails) to join our team at DSV Air & Sea Ltd. in Bangkok. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong, long-lasting relationships with clients in the consumer fashion and retail industries.
What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain close and beneficial relationships with Local Accounts and Regional Key accounts where applicable. Coordinate and steer IV sales activities with Local and Business units.
- Identify target accounts into Dynamics, volume and GP opportunities must be at least 3 times for sales target.
- Build a pro-active sales approach towards the Strategic Accounts based on the customer needs and the Unique Selling Propositions of DSV.
- Direct bids and proposals on his/her Strategic Key accounts, owning final responsibility for the commercial proposition in line with Corporate policies and customer solutions of tenders and bids. Agree and align final commercial proposition with Industry Vertical, Corporate Product, Corporate Tender Management.
- Identify and develop new markets and Industry Vertical specific products in close cooperation with Account Management Manager.
- Act as Industry Vertical Expert within the country and is responsible for sharing and increasing Industry knowledge and know-how across Area and BU Sales Teams.
- Develop and Execute Business Development Plan on the assigned Strategic Key Account with the designated account team.
- Coordinate and proper execution of the Account plan and any other (Strategic) Key Account projects, in cooperation with Account Management Manager.
- Prepare RFI & RFQ Post-Mortem analysis and share with Tender Management, Products and any other relevant internal stakeholders.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience 5- 10 years in field sales freight forwarding
- Good knowledge of markets (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment and major trade lanes)
- Have experience used system CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Good command English
- Can work at Romklao Road
