About the role
The Business Development Senior Executive is responsible for creating and closing local (inbound) and global (outbound) sales opportunities, bringing in new local business to the market and expanding existing customers within the market. This individual will support inbound sales processes by providing with proposals to new prospects, while also upselling and cross selling to an existing client portfolio. Will be responsible of complex renewal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Development & Lead Generation
Build and manage a robust pipeline of inbound and outbound opportunities across Thailand the region.
Respond to web inquiries and proactively generate new leads through networking, referrals, intermediaries, and market initiatives.
Maintain a balance between sourcing new logos and farming accounts.
Sales Execution & Deal Management
You'll project-manage the full sales cycle by coordinating with TMF presales teams for: lead qualification, solution design, proposal development, pricing, contract negotiation, KYC, and handover to delivery teams.
Act as the market entry expert for requests inbound to your country, but also manage overseas opportunities, follow your client's expansion to deliver tailored, high-value solutions.
Collaborate with other TMF colleagues to support sales initiatives, improve processes, and enhance conversion rates.
Client & Intermediary Engagement
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, intermediaries, and industry influencers in the market.
Develop strategic account plans to grow existing client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities across TMF's global footprint.
Champion TMF's values and culture, acting as a brand ambassador in the market.
Performance & Reporting
Meet annual sales and pipeline generation targets, all measured in Annual Contract Value (ACV). - Provide accurate weekly pipeline forecasts and maintain up-to-date CRM records (Experience with Microsoft Dynamics experience would be an advantage).
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in legal, business, sales, marketing, or a related field;
- Relevant working experience in a commercial environment, or in consulting, accounting, or law firms;
- Very good English written and verbal communication skills. Chinese speaking is a plus;
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels;
- Able to "solution sell" where the ability to listen to the clients and understand what they really need is more important than a hard sell;
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Strong communication, good negotiation skills;
- Results-oriented, and able to manage their priorities/workload;
- Experience working in or with direct sales, pre-sales and/or enablement in an enterprise software and/or SaaS environment;
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving.
