Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in Thailand's renewable energy sector, including utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) projects
Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and financial assessments for potential projects
Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, utilities, landowners, investors, EPC contractors, and strategic partners
Lead project development activities from origination through contract negotiation and project handover
Prepare and manage proposals, tenders, bids, and power purchase agreement (PPA) negotiations
Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, finance, legal, and operations to ensure project viability and bankability
Monitor regulatory frameworks, policies, and incentives related to renewable energy in Thailand
Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Energy Management, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage)
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development or project development within the renewable energy industry
Proven experience in solar, wind, energy storage, or other renewable energy technologies
Strong understanding of Thailand's renewable energy market, regulations, and permitting processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong strategic thinking and market analysis skills
Experience in financial modeling, project valuation, and commercial negotiations
Must be Fluent in Thai (spoken and written)
Proficient in English (spoken and written)
Ability to speak Chinese (Mandarin) is highly preferred and will be a strong advantage.
