Procurement Assistant Manager - Direct Food Raw Material

Location:
Bangkok

The Procurement Assistant Manager - Direct Food Raw Material will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and full lifecycle management of a critical portfolio of ingredients, specifically Dry proteins, Fats, and Oils. This role requires strong analytical skills to manage commodity volatility, exceptional negotiation abilities to secure optimal terms with local and international suppliers, and outstanding stakeholder management to align procurement activities with complex internal business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Execute strategic sourcing for the assigned direct food raw materials category, including Dry Proteins, Fats & Oils, etc.
  • Conduct rigorous market analysis and risk assessments on global commodity markets to inform purchasing decisions and hedging strategies specific to animal protein and oil supply chains.
  • Lead the negotiation of pricing, supply agreements, and contractual terms with suppliers

Stakeholder & Supplier Management

  • Manage complex internal relationships to ensure seamless material flow and quality alignment across the organization:
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key local and international suppliers, driving performance, transparency, and sustainable sourcing practices.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation

  • Ensure all procured ingredients and suppliers strictly comply with all relevant food safety regulations, certifications, and the company's internal Quality Management Systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in
    Strategic Procurement, Sourcing
    with a mandatory focus on
    Direct Food Raw Materials
    within the
    Food & Beverage
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and negotiating with both local and international/overseas suppliers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of navigating complex cross-functional demands and ensuring alignment.
  • Professional proficiency in both Thai and English is required
