About the Role:

Job involves the installation, administration, and maintenance of SAP systems to ensure their stability, performance, and security. Key responsibilities include system monitoring, performance tuning, upgrades, user administration, troubleshooting, and managing system landscapes and transports. They work closely with other teams to support SAP applications and resolve complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • System Installation and Configuration:
    Install and configure SAP systems and their associated databases.
  • System Maintenance and Upgrades:
    Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and manage the overall health of the SAP landscape.
  • Performance Tuning and Monitoring:
    Proactively monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Diagnose and resolve technical problems within the SAP environment.
  • User and Security Management:
    Handle user administration, manage roles and authorizations, and ensure system security and compliance.
  • Landscape and Transport Management:
    Manage the development, QA, and production system landscape and handle the transport management system (TMS/CTS+).
  • Support and Collaboration:
    Provide technical support to users and collaborate with other functional and technical teams to ensure smooth operation of applications.

Qualifications & Key knowledge :

  • Education
    : Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experiences
    : At least 7 years in SAP, SAP s4Hana, Project management.
  • Technical Expertise
    : Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, Fiori, and SAP HANA database administration.
  • System Architecture
    : Understanding of system landscapes, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) setups.
  • Cloud and Hybrid Environments
    : Experience with cloud platforms (like Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid hosting models is increasingly important.
  • Security and Compliance
    : Familiarity with user/role management and support for compliance controls (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Problem-Solving
    : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex system issues.
  • Communication
    : Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with different teams and client. Proficient in business English communication.
  • Project Experience
    : Experience with end-to-end implementation projects (brownfield or greenfield) is often required.
  • Able to travel to different work locations.
