Role Description

Jaymart Insurance is looking for a hands-on insurance product professional with a strong actuarial background to develop, price, and manage insurance products that are profitable, well-controlled in risk, and commercially viable.

This role is designed for a middle-management individual contributor who works deeply in product analytics, pricing, and market-driven product design, rather than managing large teams. The role requires close collaboration with sales, distribution, claims, underwriting, and finance teams to ensure products are fit with Jaymart Group's targeted distribution channels and deliver sustainable financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Pricing (Hands-on)

  • Develop and refine insurance products with a focus on profitability, loss ratio control, and risk-adjusted returns
  • Build and maintain pricing models, assumptions, and product profitability analysis
  • Support product revisions based on actual performance, claims experience, and market feedback

Actuarial & Risk Analysis

  • Perform experience studies, risk analysis, and scenario testing for new and existing products
  • Analyze claims trends and underwriting data to identify risk drivers and mitigation actions
  • Support reinsurance structure analysis and product risk sharing where applicable

Market & Channel Alignment

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify commercially attractive product opportunities
  • Translate customer and channel insights into practical product features, pricing, and coverage structures
  • Ensure product designs align with Jaymart Group distribution channels, including retail, device-related, digital, and partner platforms

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor product performance against key financial metrics (loss ratio, margin, volume mix)
  • Prepare analytical reports and recommendations for management on product improvement and risk exposure

Regulatory & Internal Coordination

  • Ensure product documentation and pricing assumptions are aligned with regulatory and internal governance requirements
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support product approval and launch processes

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Must be a
    Thai citizen
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields
  • 4–8 years of experience in insurance product development, pricing, or actuarial roles
  • Strong working knowledge of general insurance products and pricing methodologies
  • Proven ability to conduct hands-on analysis and product-level financial modeling
  • Experience working with market research and commercial data to support product decisions

Preferred

  • Progress toward actuarial professional certification
  • Experience supporting products sold through retail, affinity, embedded, or digital channels
  • Familiarity with multi-channel distribution environments
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple product initiatives simultaneously
