Full accountability to lead the SCBPT insurance distribution strategy and initiatives to achieve the Business Plan KPIs including APE, VNB, Manpower, Active Ratio, Case Size and FWD insurance penetration in SCBPT. This senior role represents FWD Thailand & Bank Protection in engaging and dealing with the Managing Director - PC, SVP Head of Telemarketing & Head of Strategy from SCBPT to develop solid distribution strategies and is responsible for the field implementation of these importance distribution initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full accountability to develop key strategic distribution initiatives to deliver all business plan KPI – APE (13bn), VNB(5.1) by 2027, Manpower, Active Ratio and Case size and rate

  • Develop strategies to increase insurance penetration across SCBPT from PC (49% to 72%) & TSRs (92% to 96%) in 2027 and help Head of Business Development with the roll out of these strategies to the field

  • Analysis of sales trends and momentum to recommend and develop sales tactical campaigns to drive maximum Insurance sales with 2366 PC sellers and 2000 Telemarketers from SCBPT across the branch networks of SCBPT in Thailand

  • Develop Manpower expansion plans and work with recruitment team and SCBPT Sales Team to deliver 2366 PCs and 2000 TSRs by 2023

  • Represent Bank Protection to engage with SCBPT senior executives (CEO, Managing Director - PC, SVP Head of Telemarketing and Head of Strategy from SCBPT) to chair strategic development meetings to formulate and execute distribution strategies with effective field execution plan whilst aligning with company directions

  • Lead the full project development and implementation of the FWD flagship digital program "FWD Affiliate to SCBPT"

  • Lead the channel's support function initiatives and discussions including Underwriting, Operations, IT, Distribution Strategy Support to help improve turnaround times, policy issuance, create synergy and enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Baseline Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any areas

  • Minimum 7 Years experience in distribution strategy, project management and process improvement in life insurance industry especially related to Agency and Bancassurance

  • Understand well in insurance industry and insurance distribution journey in new way of digitalize and technology driven

  • Self-driven with operating style to fits in all circumstance with well handling back and forth of uncertainty situation, Familiar with agility working environment

  • Strong communication and analytical skills preferred

  • Project Management certification is preferred

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written
