About the Role

Product Development Engineer will be the key technical and product expert in Thailand, owning end-to-end product understanding from development to market adoption. This role connects customer feedback, engineering improvements, field testing, and product documentation to ensure every product shipped to farmers meets Aonic's quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product testing in Thailand for new launches, prototypes, and product iterations.
  • Validate design improvements through structured test plans and field trials.
  • Participate in all stage of R&D discussions to shape product features suitable for the Thai market.
  • Provide engineering insights on feasibility, usability, durability, and maintenance requirements.
  • Support R&D with local testing data, user scenarios, and performance feedback.
  • Act as the official "product voice" from Thailand to global teams. Collect real customer insights (farmers, branches, technicians) and translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • Report product gaps, customer pain points, competitor benchmarks, and market trends.
  • Align product improvements with Thailand's farming conditions, regulations, and user behavior.
  • Create and maintain user manuals, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, technical documentation, and training materials.
  • Support internal teams (BD, Branch Supervisors, Maintenance, Ops) with product knowledge training to ensure seamless product rollout.
  • Maintain blueprint and version control for hardware, parts, and accessories.
  • Support customer escalations that require deeper product understanding.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Aerospace, or related).
  • 2 – 5 years' experience in product engineering, hardware development, R&D, or field testing.
  • Experience with drones, robotics, agriculture machinery, or smart devices is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with PCB, sensors, battery systems, or firmware is a plus.
  • Strong technical mindset with hands-on testing ability.
  • Ability to translate customer feedback into clear technical requirements.
  • Experience writing manuals, SOPs, or engineering documentation.
  • Good understanding of hardware troubleshooting and product quality testing.
  • Good communication skills in Thai & English.
  • Willingness to travel to branches and farms for product testing.
