About Our Client
Our client is a well-established industrial group with global operations worldwide. Known for its engineering excellence and international footprint, the company fosters a collaborative and multicultural work environment.

Job Description

  • Lead and enforce group-wide legal and compliance policies across global jurisdictions.
  • Ensure corporate legal compliance through structured checklists, regular reviews, and database management.
  • Supervise local legal officers and external counsel to maintain compliance across all entities.
  • Develop and implement internal control plans and dashboards to monitor legal adherence.
  • Manage insurance policies group-wide, optimizing coverage and premiums.
  • Establish and maintain a corporate governance framework and ensure group-wide adherence.
  • Support M&A activities including legal due diligence and contract reviews.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide legal advice and risk analysis to various departments including HR, IT, and Operations.
  • Handle company secretarial duties across global entities.
  • Lead litigation and dispute resolution efforts with strong legal argumentation.
  • Select and manage external legal counsel based on expertise and budget.
  • Train and upskill managers on legal competencies and compliance awareness.
  • Manage a small legal team and coordinate with internal delegates in affiliates.
  • Promote efficient document management and suggest suitable legal tools.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree (LL.M) in Law with at least 10 years of international corporate and commercial legal experience.
  • Proven leadership in managing legal teams and handling cross-border legal matters.
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in legal document management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
