Business Analyst

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Business Analyst. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to consult with clients effectively, and strong documentation expertise. Experience in the insurance industry and a deep understanding of business processes are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
2. Lead client consultations to gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements.
3. Prepare high-quality documentation, including business requirements, technical specifications, and process workflows.
4. Analyze and translate client needs into actionable deliverables for development and implementation teams.
5. Provide expert advice on insurance-related processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
6. Facilitate and lead workshops, meetings, and presentations with clients and internal teams.
7. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services, aligning them with client needs.
8. Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure smooth implementation and quality assurance.
9. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery of all project milestones.
10. Monitor market trends in the insurance industry to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the insurance industry or related fields, with a deep understanding of insurance processes and terminology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Expertise in creating high-quality documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs) and user stories, SRS, wireframes and diagrams.
• Ability to consult with clients and build long-term professional relationships.
• Experience with business analysis methodologies and project management frameworks.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Fluency in English, with professional-level communication skills.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science/engineering, MIS, IT management or related fields
• Minimum 5 years experience and above in project planning, BA and management with the ability to break down complex problems into operational and manageable goals.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking competencies to analyze business environment, etc.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated skill in influence, conflict resolution, and negotiation, together with good presentation/communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment interacting with all levels in
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Business-related, fin-tech insurance workflow, or complicated system, etc.
• Vendor, software life-circle experience, could be waterfall or agile, some other important tasks, requirements, user story, BRD, SRS, wireframe, diagram
• Be able to handle complicated tasks and projects
• Analytical skills by thinking and offering solutions to the customers and the teams
• Proactive, service-minded, persistent and self-motivated, and good project management.
