Job Summary:

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for monitoring and ensuring product quality throughout the production process of manufacturing. This role involves quality inspection, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement to meet internal standards and customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other teams to resolve quality-related issues and support product development.
  • Maintain and improve quality systems in compliance with ISO 9001 or other applicable standards.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documents such as Inspection Reports, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and testing equipment.
  • Support internal and external audits, including customer audits and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in plastic packaging or industrial manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP).
  • Proficient in using measurement tools.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Fluently English communication skills and attention to detail.
