Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement & Planning

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that support VibesLab's business growth, innovation, and cost-efficiency objectives.
  • Forecast material and product requirements in coordination with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Marketing, Finance).
  • Establish KPIs to monitor procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier service levels.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Identify, assess, and develop high-performing suppliers that align with VibesLab's quality and innovation standards.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and long-term partnership agreements.
  • Oversee supplier evaluation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement programs.

Purchasing Operations Management

  • Supervise the end-to-end procurement process to ensure timely sourcing, order accuracy, and cost control.
  • Review and approve major purchase requisitions, supplier quotations, and vendor agreements.
  • Ensure that procurement activities are efficient, transparent, and aligned with company policies.

Inventory & Supply Optimization

  • Collaborate with logistics and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or overages.
  • Implement data-driven inventory management systems and demand forecasting tools.
  • Review supply chain processes to reduce lead time and improve stock turnover.

Cost Optimization & Market Analysis

  • Analyze market trends, supplier pricing structures, and commodity forecasts to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and alternative sourcing solutions to mitigate supply risks.
  • Regularly review procurement spend and deliver measurable savings targets.

Compliance, Risk, and Governance

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with corporate governance, ethical sourcing policies, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records to support audit and reporting requirements.
  • Manage procurement risks by developing contingency plans and supplier diversification strategies.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance professional capability and performance.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Provide strategic input to senior management on procurement trends, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in supplier negotiation, cost management, and contract administration.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software would be a BIG plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
