BD & Sales Manager – Oilfield Chemicals (SEA)
Our Client is a global materials and specialty chemicals group seeking a dynamic BD & Sales Manager – Oilfield Chemicals to lead business development and sales growth across Southeast Asia. This role will focus on expanding market share in drilling fluids, cementing, and stimulation segments through strategic client engagement and strong technical-commercial leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with global business objectives for the Oilfield Chemicals division.
- Drive growth across Southeast Asia, identifying new opportunities and managing existing key accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Product Line Managers to develop tailored technical and commercial solutions for customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales quotations, pricing proposals, and customer contracts.
- Ensure effective use of Salesforce CRM for pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Support innovation initiatives by identifying new product opportunities and championing digitalization efforts.
- Monitor sales performance versus budget and manage cost efficiency across assigned markets.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all customer interactions and operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in technical sales or business development within oilfield chemicals or related industries (drilling fluids, cementing, stimulation).
- Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of Incoterms, payment terms, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, and Power BI.
- Fluent English (both written and spoken); other SEA languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
