Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting & Financial Operations

  2. Responsible for daily accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and inventory

  3. Review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end / year-end closing

  4. Ensure proper accounting treatment for data center assets (servers, racks, UPS, cooling systems, network equipment)

  5. Maintain accurate records for CAPEX and OPEX

  6. Financial Reporting

  7. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  8. Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends

  9. Support management with financial analysis and operational cost reports

  10. Ensure timely submission of management and statutory reports

  11. Budgeting & Cost Control

  12. Assist in annual budget planning and forecasting

  13. Monitor data center operating costs (electricity, cooling, maintenance, bandwidth, lease, security)

  14. Track and control energy cost efficiency (PUE-related expenses)

  15. Analyze cost per rack / per MW / per customer

  16. Compliance & Audit

  17. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements

  18. Coordinate internal and external audits

  19. Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for auditors

  20. Ensure proper tax filing (VAT, WHT, CIT, etc.)

  21. Cash Flow & Treasury

  22. Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and payment schedules

Supervise customer billing and collection

  • Control vendor payments and contract-based payments

  • Support treasury planning for large CAPEX projects

  • Systems & Process Improvement

  • Maintain and improve accounting systems / ERP

  • Implement internal controls and financial SOPs

  • Automate accounting and reporting processes where possible

  • Coordinate with IT teams on system integration

  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Accountant License / CPD / CPA / ACCA / equivalent certification is an advantage

  • 5 years of accounting/finance experience

  • Experience in data center, telecom, IT infrastructure, power, utilities, or technology companies preferred

  • Able to communicate in English/Chinese.
