Job Posting: Accounting Supervisor

Directing Report to: Assistant General Manager, Accounting & Finance

Job Summary: Responsible for operating and overseeing all accounting operations, including supporting monthly closing, tax submission, and annual financial statements. Managing fixed assets, preparing financial presentations for management, the Board of Directors, and shareholders. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting, independence, and leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Operation and Review

• Recording and reviewing daily accounting operations, including GL, AR, AP, Inventory, and Fixed Assets.

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly and annual financial closing.

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules in compliance with accounting standards.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS).

2. Fixed Assets Management

• Record acquisition, transfer, and disposal of fixed assets accurately and in a timely manner.

• Conduct physical asset verification and reconciliation with accounting records.

• Coordinate annual fixed asset counts and ensure proper documentation.

• Prepare write-off proposals and ensure approval and accounting treatment are in line with company policy.

3. Tax Filing

• Prepare and ensure the accurate and timely submission of monthly and annual tax filings (VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax, etc.).

• Coordinate with the Revenue Department for tax audits or clarifications.

• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance.

4. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with TFRS.

• Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits and ensure timely completion.

• Analyze financial results and prepare variance analysis reports.

• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis, reports, and special assignments as required by management.

5. Board and Shareholder Reporting

• Prepare financial presentations and summary reports for Board of Directors and Shareholders' meetings.

• Present key financial highlights, performance trends, and recommendations.

6. Budgeting and Control

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

• Consolidation budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in accounting or related field.

CPD , CPA(Certified Public Accountant) is an advantage.

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, including experience in financial statements, taxation, and fixed asset management.

Strong knowledge of Thai taxation and TFRS.

Experience in hotel or hospitality business is an advantage.

Experience in using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.

Good command of English (both written and spoken).

Intermediate Excel skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.

2. Able to work independently with minimal supervision to ensure all accounting processes run smoothly and effectively.

Working Days Mon-Fri, 08.30 am.-5.30 pm.
