Business Development Manager – New Brand Set Up (Fashion Retail)

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the market entry and expansion of a new fashion retail brand. This role will play a key part in store network planning, leasing negotiations, and building strong relationships with major landlords.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead store expansion strategy for a new fashion retail brand from initial setup to rollout
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure prime retail locations (shopping malls, high street, lifestyle centers)
  • Manage leasing negotiations and maintain strong relationships with well-known landlords and developers
  • Conduct market and location analysis to support store performance and growth decisions
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, design, finance) to ensure smooth store openings
  • Monitor retail market trends, competitor activity, and rental benchmarks
  • Support long-term growth planning and regional expansion initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fashion retail expansion, leasing, or business development
  • Strong network with major landlords and mall operators
  • Track record in store opening and retail rollout projects
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial new brand environment
  • Willingness to travel as required

  • Experience working with international or well-known fashion brands
  • Hands-on involvement in new brand market entry or large-scale retail expansion
