We are looking for a junior-mid BSM trader to focus on bond & unit trust investments while also supporting THB & FCY liquidity management. The role requires strong analytical skills and good knowledge of financial markets. Knowledge in fixed income, equity/unit trust investment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Execute & support investments in government bonds, corporate bonds, and unit trusts in accordance with bank's investment policies and risk framework
  • Perform investment analysis, including interest rate risk, credit risk, and risk-return assessment
  • Monitor market developments and identify investment opportunities
  • Monitor & assess portfolio performance and valuation
  • Support daily THB & FCY liquidity management, including cash flow monitoring,  to ensure efficient funding, revenue optimization, and RWA minimization
  • Monitor funding gaps, liquidity ratio, interest rate risk, and capital usage in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Execute fund transfer pricing (FTP) for business units in accordance with the bank policies & guidelines
  • Prepare investment proposals and materials for management and investment committees
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for managements and committees
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or other related fields.
  2. Internship or work experience in money market, liquidity management, or treasury-related functions is a plus.
  3. Basic knowledge of money market instruments, fixed income securities, FX swaps, and balance sheet management.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with quantitative data. Proficiency in Excel is required; knowledge of VBA or Power BI is an advantage.
  5. Ability to read and analyze financial statements and basic economic/financial data.
  6. Good command of English, especially in business communication and reading financial documents.
  7. Fresh graduates with a solid foundation in finance and a keen interest in financial markets are welcome to apply.
