Position Overview

The Business Development role is responsible for expanding Convert Cake's client portfolio by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. This includes managing inbound leads, developing outbound strategies, nurturing relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment between client needs and agency capabilities.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

  • Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into potential clients.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline through CRM tools and data tracking.

2. Pitching & Closing

  • Develop and present tailored proposals and pitch decks.
  • Understand client pain points and design solutions leveraging Convert Cake's strengths.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals with support from senior management when needed.

3. Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify and establish partnerships that complement Convert Cake's services (e.g., tech platforms, SaaS tools, influencers, agencies).
  • Represent Convert Cake in events, webinars, or partner meetings.

4. Market Insights & Research

  • Track competitor movements, market trends, and platform updates (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.).
  • Provide feedback to the strategy and marketing teams for positioning and service refinement.

5. Internal Collaboration

  • Work with Project Management and Performance teams to ensure smooth handover and alignment post-sale.
  • Contribute to the optimization of pitch templates, sales playbooks, and collateral.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales (preferably in digital marketing, SaaS, or agency environment).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (Thai, bonus if English)
  • Deep understanding of online media channels and advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, persistent, and comfortable with performance-based environments.

  • Prior experience selling marketing or digital services.
  • Existing relationships with brands, marketing managers, or startup founders.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics, creative strategy, or ad optimization.
