Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the company's financial reporting, consolidation, accounting operations, and system integration between operational platforms and SAP. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely financial data, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced Insurance Broker business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with group accounting standards and local regulations.
  • Manage and review consolidation of financial statements for group reporting and compliance purposes.

2. Accounting Operations & Team Supervision

  • Supervise the accounting and finance team, providing leadership, coaching, and development to ensure high-quality work and team engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Review and approve accounting transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Review monthly balance sheets and key account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with financial reporting standards.

3. Group Reporting

  • Serve as a key liaison with group finance teams, ensuring alignment on reporting requirements, deadlines, and compliance.

4. Process Improvement & System Integration

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency.
  • Manage and enhance data interface and reconciliation processes between operational systems and SAP to ensure seamless integration and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Accounting teams to solve system issues and improve reporting flows.

5. Cost Control & Financial Risk Management (Market-standard duties)

  • Monitor and control operating expenses and cost structures, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct financial impact analysis for new business initiatives, products, and partnerships.
  • Support the risk management function by evaluating financial risks and ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.

6. Audit, Compliance, and Internal Control

  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit processes and implement recommendations
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, tax, and reporting obligations relevant to the Insurance Broker industry.


Qualifications / Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting.
  • Minimum years of experience in pure auditing or 12 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, accounting, and consolidation roles.
  • Solid understanding of all accounting processes, Thai accounting standards (TFRS), IFRS, and relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong professional skepticism can identify risks and improve the process.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a hands-on and proactive approach.
  • Proven experience in Brokerage business is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP system and data integration between operational platforms and accounting systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) for group company coordination and reporting.

Preferred Skills and Experiences (Optional but strong plus)

  • Experience in designing and implementing accounting processes and automation projects.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for financial dashboards.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset to partner with senior leadership.
