About the role

Join Thailand's leading executive placement agency, BTI Executive Placement (Thailand) Co., Ltd., as an Assistant Portfolio Manager (Offshore Private Bank). This full-time role is based in Bangkok and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the management and growth of offshore private banking portfolios.

What you'll be doing

Operation


• Assist PM with cash management and entering trades for mandates held by Thai clients via internal system Avaloq, ensuring accuracy in all entries.


• Monitor FX hedging rollovers at maturity and track outstanding cash balances for FX swap settlements.


• Maintain accurate records and systematically track all relevant documents and trade logs to ensure compliance and proper documentation.

Marketing & Client Service


• Help prepare marketing presentations for client pitches, proposals, and portfolio reviews.


• Prepare performance attribution report and portfolio commentary monthly and ad hoc request.


• Attend client meetings alongside the PM and Relationship Managers (RMs), and prepare relevant supporting documentation.

Investment


• Review and summarize key takeaways from equity research pieces


• Conduct deep-dive analysis on stocks, including business model evaluation, growth outlook, competitor analysis, key risk assessment, company valuation


• Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in global investment markets.


• Identify new investment opportunities through qualitative and quantitative screening

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in portfolio management or asset management
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  4. Proficient in using financial analysis tools and investment management software
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues
  6. Keen interest in the financial services industry and a proactive attitude towards professional development
