Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Portfolio Strategist to drive the investment direction for our Portfolio Advisory products. In this role, you will translate global macroeconomic trends into actionable Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) and Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) strategies. You will construct high-conviction model portfolios and select best-in-class investment vehicles (Funds and DRs) to optimize client returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Macro Strategy & Allocation:
    Translate global and local macro data and policy shifts into investment strategies across the US, Europe, and Asia.
  • Portfolio Construction:
    Build and maintain risk-based and thematic model portfolios using quantitative frameworks, backtesting, and scenario analysis.
  • Product Selection:
    Conduct deep-dive due diligence and selection of Onshore/Offshore Mutual Funds and DRs; manage rebalancing actions.
  • Communication:
    Produce strategy reports and market outlooks; present complex investment themes clearly to relationship managers and clients.
  • Analytics:
    Utilize Bloomberg, Morningstar, and internal models to monitor performance and risk metrics.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    2-5+ years in Investment Strategy, Asset Allocation, or Fund Selection.
  • Technical Skills:
    Bloomberg and Morningstar skills are required. Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL is preferable.
  • Licensing:
    Current holder of IA (Investment Analyst) and FM (Fund Manager) license is preferred; otherwise, must be open to pursuing these licenses in the future.
  • Certifications:
    Relevant certifications such as CFA, CISA, FRM, CAIA,, CQF or similar are a plus.
