We're Hiring: Head of Actuarial Pricing & Profitability

Role Summary

This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing actuarial pricing and profitability analysis for life insurance products. The ideal candidate will ensure product designs are strategically aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and evolving customer needs. This role is pivotal in driving product innovation, ensuring financial viability, and maintaining competitive market positioning.


What You'll Do

  • Lead product pricing & design
    for term life, whole life, endowment, annuities, CI, and health riders—across participating and non-participating plans.
  • Optimize reinsurance structures
    and pricing negotiations to support strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain actuarial models
    for pricing, profit testing, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
    with product, underwriting, distribution, and finance teams.
  • Engage with regulators
    to secure product approvals and ensure compliance.
  • Mentor junior actuaries
    and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in life insurance product pricing
  • Strong knowledge of actuarial standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Proficiency in Prophet; Excel, R, or Python is a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strategic mindset with commercial acumen
