Principle
Accountabilities
:

  • Control and maintain tools and equipment used in the work to ensure they are ready for use at all times.
  • Carry out repairs and improvements on machinery according to the plant's maintenance plan to maintain maximum efficiency.
  • Find new ways to improve maintenance practices to make them more convenient, economical and safer.
  • Control the performance of maintenance technicians to comply with the specified maintenance plan.
  • Control contractors to perform work as specified by the supervisor and assigned with the highest safety.
  • Inspect machinery according to the plant's preventive maintenance plans and methods to maintain and monitor the machinery to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.

Minimum
Requirements and Qualifications
:

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems
  • Understanding of hazardous area classifications (e.g., ATEX, IECEx)
  • Knowledge of calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents
  • Knowledge of analytical instruments
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
