What you'll be doing

1. Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers based on factors such as product quality, delivery times, and cost
2. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with overseas vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
3. Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements for imported materials and equipment
4. Monitor and analyst market trends and developments to identify new sourcing opportunities
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production and finance teams, to align procurement activities with business needs
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities
7. Provide regular updates and reports on the status of international procurement projects

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in international purchasing or supply chain management.
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with overseas suppliers
3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
4. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, as well as familiarity with common procurement software and systems
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
6. Willingness to travel internationally to visit suppliers and attend industry events
