Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will primarily oversee all production control operations based on the sales plan.  The key metric for success will be satisfying customer-required lead times through the optimization of production and outsourcing plans.

n   Production and Outsourcing Plan Development:

n   Formulate and execute efficient production plans based on the sales forecast that meet customer requirements.

n   Develop optimal outsourcing plans considering production capacity, personnel, and inventory of materials.

n   Customer Required Lead Time Management:

n   Prioritize meeting customer-required lead times by optimizing production and outsourcing plans.

n   Analyze variances between plan and actual results, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.

n   Inventory Management:

n   Maintain and manage appropriate inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP) with Purchasing

n   Inter-departmental Collaboration (Sales Support):

n   Work closely with the sales department and share information regarding production and delivery status.

n   Coordinate with the manufacturing and purchasing departments to ensure plan execution.

n   Data Management and Improvement:

n   Analyze production control data and drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements

Education

n  Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.

n  An MBA is a plus.

Experience

n  Possess a strong background and at least 5 years of practical experience in Production Control or Supply Chain Management within the manufacturing, specifically B2B industry.

n  Experience involving equipment (such as manufacturing apparatus and inspection jigs) or similar products is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

n  Deep knowledge and practical experience in production planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and scheduling.

n  Understand international trading concepts, such as Incoterms.

n  Possess skills and knowledge in using accounting software or ERP systems.

n  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Profile & Other

n  Self-motivated with a result-driven approach.

n  A fast learner with a passion for operations and efficiency.

n  Proficiency in English or Japanese is required and Chinese is plus.
