About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Cross Border Trucking Manager to join our dynamic team at KA. LOGISTICS INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD.'. This is a full-time position based in Phra Khanong, Bangkok, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our cross-border logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate the transportation of goods across international borders, including multi modal transport to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
  2. Liaise with customs authorities and other relevant government agencies, shipping team, to facilitate the smooth clearance of goods
  3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
  4. Oversee the performance of our cross-border trucking CS, Fleet, including monitoring vendor/driver productivity, maintenance, and compliance with regulations
  5. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address client needs and provide innovative logistics solutions
  6. Analyze and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  7. Manage a team of logistics coordinators and ensure they are well-equipped to handle cross-border operations
  8. Handle and develop pricing tariff, management reports, company's assets control and TMS

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a cross-border logistics management role, preferably within the import/export and customs industry
  2. Extensive knowledge of international trade regulations, customs clearance procedures, and cross-border transportation requirements
  3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex logistical challenges
  4. Excellent communication for both Thai and English, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, customs authorities, and internal teams
  5. Proficiency in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
  6. A proven track record of driving process improvements and optimizing logistics operations
  7. A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
