About the role

As an Area Sales Executive (Hybrid) at PETRONAS International Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., you will take on responsibilities that are being reassigned to support stronger commercial execution across the assigned territory. You will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding the company's market presence.

You will be responsible for managing sales performance, market penetration, and customer satisfaction to achieve both short‑ and long‑term business objectives for PETRONAS lubricant products. The role covers sales operations across both Industrial (B2B) and High Street (B2C) channels, ensuring effective implementation of market expansion initiatives, distributor management, and technical support.

With a strong focus on retail market development, the position requires deep knowledge of lubrication technologies, product applications, and relevant industry standards to effectively engage customers and optimize business results.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned sales territory
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Prepare and present detailed sales proposals, negotiating terms and closing deals effectively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall business growth
  • Provide excellent customer service and support, ensuring a positive brand experience

What we're looking for

  • Minimum five 5 years' work experience in lubricants business
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry, Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in lubricant sales, distributor management, and technical advisory.
  • Strong expertise in lubrication technologies, product application, and technical sales support.
  • Proven ability to execute multi-channel sales strategies, balancing consumer and industrial markets.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and market expansion skills.
