Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead the company through its next phase of growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination, and driving profitability—while strictly adhering to all regulatory requirements within Thailand's evolving medical cannabis landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Growth:

  • Identify and evaluate high-potential locations for store expansion, based on demographic data, competitor analysis, and regulatory viability.
  • Lead business development initiatives including partnerships, clinic collaborations, and educational programs.
  • Create and execute scalable strategies for retail footprint expansion and market penetration.
  • Monitor local and global cannabis trends to inform product strategy and business direction.
  • Upon request of the Board of Directors or the President and Group CEO of Boutique Corporation PCL the Employee may be asked to join the Board of the Company or its affiliates in the value chain
  • Work with the holding company and the CEO or other designated executives in establishing policies at an organizational level including clearly translating policies and objectives into actual operations and ensuring adoption by all employees at different levels across the value chain.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee all departments: Cultivation, Manufacturing, Extraction, R&D, Retail, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Ensure operational efficiency across the supply chain (farm to store), optimizing cost, quality, and timelines.
  • Lead cost-cutting and resource-optimization initiatives without compromising product quality or compliance.
  • Implement SOPs and KPIs across business units to ensure accountability and performance measurement.

Team Leadership & Culture:

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing cross-functional team including department heads and store managers.
  • Foster a collaborative and purpose-driven work environment aligned with company values.
  • Lead weekly/monthly performance reviews, townhalls, and strategy updates to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure the company strictly adheres to all Thai FDA regulations, GACP, GMP, and retail cannabis licensing requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cannabis laws and policy developments in Thailand.
  • Serve as the company's point of contact with government agencies, inspectors, and industry associations.
  • Ensure all product labeling, promotions, and educational content remain compliant with medical cannabis laws.

Financial Oversight:

  • Own and monitor P&L performance across all business units.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Approve and track high-level expenditures, vendor contracts, and capital investments.

Brand, Marketing & Community:

  • Oversee marketing strategy to ensure alignment with legal boundaries and brand voice.
  • Support awareness campaigns to educate patients and stakeholders about medical cannabis.
  • Represent the brand at industry conferences, community events, and investor meetings when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, retail, healthcare, cannabis, or regulated industries.
  • Deep understanding of compliance in highly regulated markets (experience in Thailand or Southeast Asia is a strong plus).
  • Proven track record in business development, team leadership, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Fluent in English; Thai language proficiency is a plus.
