Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Junior ICT Support Officer to be the first line of technical defense for our school community. This role is perfect for a highly organized individual looking to launch their IT career and gain hands-on experience supporting our teachers and students across hardware, software, networking, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic first-line technical support to students and teaching staff for common hardware issues (e.g., printers, projectors, charging carts, peripherals).
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of core educational software (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, learning platforms, classroom apps).
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles, and assist in the inventory and deployment of school-owned devices (laptops, tablets).
  • Help monitor and troubleshoot basic network issues (Wi-Fi connectivity, internet access) within classrooms and computer labs.
  • Ensure all devices and accounts comply with the school's IT security policies, including antivirus checks, password assistance, and basic data backup procedures.
  • Provide essential audio-visual and technical support for school events, including setting up and managing projectors, sound systems, microphones, and presentation software.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues resolved and conduct simple, one-on-one or small-group training sessions for staff and students on the proper use of new technology.
Requirements
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Preferably minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Good command of English (written and verbal).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of IT hardware, software, and networking principles.
  • Must be highly organized, proactive in a dynamic school environment.
