EHS Manager (Data Center Engineering Hub)

Chonburi

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with local regulations and company standards.
  • Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analysis for construction, commissioning, and operational phases of data center projects.
  • Monitor compliance with occupational health & safety, fire safety, electrical safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive EHS culture across engineering, operations, and contractor teams, ensuring alignment with "Zero Incident" objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks to identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Deliver EHS training programs and toolbox talks for employees and contractors to strengthen awareness and accountability.
  • Coordinate incident/accident investigations, prepare reports, and implement preventive and corrective actions.
  • Manage emergency preparedness programs, including fire drills, evacuation plans, and crisis response readiness.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and operations leaders to integrate EHS considerations into design and construction planning.
  • Oversee contractor safety management, including pre-qualification, orientation, and performance monitoring.
  • Track, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics (KPIs, LTIs, near misses) to management with recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure environmental compliance in waste management, energy usage, emissions, and sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors on EHS-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of EHS management experience, ideally within data center, mission-critical facilities, engineering, or construction industries.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements related to workplace safety, fire prevention, electrical safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Proven experience managing EHS in large-scale projects with multiple contractors and stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills to drive EHS culture across diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Ability to respond effectively to crises and manage emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in EHS reporting tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional regional language is an advantage.
