Production Supervisor_Coating

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

• Manage and motivate a small team of production, EHS and maintenance staffs.
• Develop and executive continuous improvement activities towards productive goals.
• Facilitate production, planning and scheduling activities compliance to corporate rules and regulation and meet to customer demand.
• Conduct internal product troubleshooting and provide solution.
• Conduct incoming QC (IQC) and outgoing finished goods quality.
• Evaluating machine, tools and equipment ensure it operation safely and good condition.
• Control production materials and consumable at optimal level
• Communicate with supplier on new purchase or repairing work at operation.
• Work with R&D and technical team on the new and revised recipe product performance.
• Communicate with product data team on GHS label information for new and revised SKU code.
• Ensuring all safety and health standard are met to keep an organization accident-free.
• Be responsible for the safety management, make sure the site / facility be following the national, local governments and SW's requirements. Maintain good communication with SAWS to implement group HSE policy to ensure the site / facility practices meet the group HSE strategy.
• To overall supervise the running of EHS system, to improve HSE system by develop training, coaching and supervision programs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline with EHS experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years' of relevant working experience in production & EHS. Preferably with experience in coating industry.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload.

Preferred:

• Knowledge in waterborne and solvent borne wood coating will be an advantage.
• Able to work closely with R&D, technician on the problem identification and solution skills.
• Have a good oral and written communication in English and Chinese will be an added advantage.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to operate Oracle system
