Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly autonomous HR Business Partner to serve as the sole HR representative for our Bangkok office. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, performance management, and cross-border HR coordination.

The ideal candidate must be capable of independently building HR structures, supporting local and regional leaders, and driving people initiatives that enable business growth across multiple markets. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the HR foundation of a fast-growing international organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Partnering

  • Serve as the primary HR contact and advisor for all employees and leaders in Bangkok.
  • Partner with Thailand and regional leadership teams to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent development.
  • Translate business needs into practical and scalable HR solutions.

2. Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for local and regional roles, managing sourcing, interviews, selection, and offer processes.
  • Build a sustainable talent pipeline for critical and senior positions.
  • Implement standardized hiring procedures, interview frameworks, and recruitment SOPs.

3. Employee Relations

  • Manage employee relations issues with confidentiality, fairness, and professionalism.
  • Provide HR advisory support on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote and maintain a positive, collaborative workplace culture aligned with company values.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Independently manage onboarding, probation assessment, confirmation, contract issuance, and exit processes.
  • Support payroll input preparation and maintain accurate HR documentation and records.
  • Ensure full compliance with Thai Labour Law, internal HR policies, and audit requirements.

5. Performance, Culture & Development

  • Support OKR/KPI planning and quarterly performance review cycles.
  • Strengthen leadership effectiveness and support organizational culture-building initiatives.
  • Lead employee engagement and retention programs to enhance workplace satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver HR training sessions as needed.

6. HR Process Setup & Improvement

  • Build HR frameworks, procedures, and workflows for Bangkok as the sole HR representative.
  • Improve HR operational efficiency through continuous process enhancement and system optimization.
  • Standardize HR practices regionally while adapting guidelines to local regulations and culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Solid knowledge of Thai labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple HR functions simultaneously.
  • Language requirement: Thai + English + Mandarin (required).
  • Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about building HR foundations in a growing organization.
