Role Overview

The Financial Controller is responsible for managing financial operations across multiple international entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong cash management. This position plays a key role in strategic financial planning, process optimization, and cross-functional financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure alignment with KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and enforce spending controls.
  • Deliver financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Improve ERP usage and streamline reporting workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and other relevant teams.

3. Strategic Financial Management

  • Develop and implement financial strategies involving capital allocation, investments, and funding.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support business growth initiatives, including the setup of new entities.

4. Risk & Compliance

  • Enhance internal control frameworks and reduce financial risks.
  • Ensure full compliance with international and local financial regulations.

5. Treasury & Cash Management

  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, and overall liquidity management.
  • Improve treasury processes and manage banking partnerships.
  • Supervise tax planning and related compliance activities.

6. Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and mentor finance teams across various regions.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to maintain accurate, consolidated financial information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification (CPA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management within global or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong capabilities in financial modeling, reporting, and process enhancement.
  • Proven leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in English and willingness to travel as needed.
