Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
  • Manage fund flow planning to ensure optimal liquidity and working capital for ongoing operations.
  • Monitor cash flow projections and actuals to anticipate funding needs and support business continuity.
  • Develop strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure lines of credit, loans, and other funding arrangements.
  • Negotiate and manage banking facilities, interest rates, and covenants to optimize financing costs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, aligning financial plans with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with dealership and retail management teams to provide financial insights for inventory planning, pricing strategies, and cost control.
  • Ensure robust controls are in place for receivables, payables, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies for statutory compliance.
  • Mentor and lead the finance team to drive continuous improvement, process automation, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA/CFA preferred).
  • 8–12 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
  • Proven track record in fund flow management and banking relationship oversight.
  • Strong understanding of automotive wholesale and retail operations, including vehicle financing and inventory funding.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
