Position: Product Engineer

Department: Engineering / Product Management

Report to: Solution manager

Job Description:

The Product Engineer is responsible for the technical development, evaluation, and support of engineering products to ensure compliance with technical requirements, customer needs, and applicable standards. The role involves close coordination with the Solution Manager, internal teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver reliable, high-quality, and competitive engineering solutions.

Job Requirements:

  • Study and understand product technical specifications and system requirements.
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into engineering solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation including datasheets, technical proposals, compliance matrices, and drawings.
  • Provide technical support for sales, tendering, and bidding activities (RFQ / RFP / Tender)
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and OEMs for product selection and development.
  • Ensure product compliance with relevant standards (IEC, EN, IEEE, ISO, etc.).
  • Support product testing activities such as FAT, SAT, factory tests, and site tests.
  • Analyze technical issues and propose corrective or improvement measures.
  • Provide technical support for after-sales services, training, and documentation.
  • Monitor new technologies and market trends to support continuous product improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in product engineering or solution engineering.
  • Experience in engineering product development, technical evaluation, and solution support.
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation such as datasheets, technical proposals, compliance matrices, and drawings.
  • Experience supporting tendering, bidding, and RFQ/RFP processes from a technical perspective.
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and OEMs.
  • Experience in product testing, FAT/SAT, factory tests, or site tests is an advantage.
  • Experience working in projects related to power systems, railway systems, industrial systems, or infrastructure projects is a plus.
