Business Development Officer

As a Business Development Officer working under Business Development Department, you will play a role in promoting the future of our company. You will be responsible for supporting new business development projects and implementing, identifying new business opportunities, seeking strategic partnerships across a wide range of multi-businesses. Your personality and ability to work across a wide range of responsibilities and multi-businesses with a positive attitude will be essential to this role.

Business Survey and Planning:

1. Gather market information (multi-business) and analyze to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, potential growth, customer insights to evaluate new business or solution opportunities.

2. Prepare reports, summarize executive reviews, identify risks and opportunities, and make presentations as assigned.

Business Development:

1. Explore opportunities to seek new prospects and new business development, in extension to our core business. 
   
   Employ critical thinking skills to address challenges and provide solutions that drive business improvements.

2. Identify, evaluate, establish strategic partnerships to build collaborative network, create market reach. Communicate value propositions and developed services to potential customers.

Product Development and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

1. Work jointly to develop and implement strategic plans for new product development, including go-to-market strategies, customer propositions, internal process flows to ensure smooth implementation phase towards execution of the projects. Support end-to-end project developments and post-deal integration.

2. Support and collaborate with Management Team to coordinate cross-function with different departments to cohesively execute business strategy with corporate business plan and financial goals.

3. Communicate value propositions and developed services to potential customers.

Conduct reviews of project status, updates to senior leadership. Document records of the development process, including project, test results, validation, continuous improvements etc. to promote creative and steamlined work process.

Financial Oversight:

1. Review financial statement, credits, business analysis, the impacts of financial changes or future investments of organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experiences in two or more related industries will be a plus. Including but not limited to: Ex. Energy, Infrastructure, Waste Management, Industrial Estates, Medical, Telecommunications, Government sector."
• Keen interests for financial and banking business domain which may include Corporate Finance, Leasing, Asset Finances, Venture Capitals, Assets Management.
• Logical thinking and analytical skills with ability to understand business context and interpret information.
• Positive attitude with can-do mindset and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities.
• Eager to learn new things, enthusiastic and passionate in value creation, problem-solving, taking up new challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving & decision-making skills ex. uncover facts, focus on business and solutions.
• Competency in MS Excel and PPT with recognition of key factors skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience to perform business analytics tools such as Tableau, PowerBI will be a plus.
• Intermediate English communication skills in writing, speaking, essential for preparing documents and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
