Job Description:

New Product Quality Inspection:

  • Design inspection methods for new models to establish standards, submit for customer approval, and follow up on results.

Equipment & Calibration Management:

  • Manage quality inspection tools and equipment, including calibration systems, MSA (Measurement System Analysis), and GR&R (Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility).

Statistical Quality Control:

  • Apply statistical methods (SPC – Statistical Process Control) to monitor and control process quality.
  • Quality System & Problem Solving
  • Organize quality systems and resolve short-term and long-term quality issues.

Manpower Planning:

  • Allocate staff effectively to ensure efficient quality control and inspection operations.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer
  • Coach and guide employees on quality and production practices to align with departmental policies and foster awareness and participation in the quality system.

Process Improvement:

  • Develop and improve inspection methods to increase accuracy, reduce inspection time, and lower initial inspection costs.
  • Customer Quality Requests:
  • Follow up on customer quality requests (MQPR – Material Quality Problem Report) with relevant internal departments.

Vendor Audit & Management:

  • Audit vendors and coordinate with them regarding non-conformities (NG) to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Corrective Action Follow-Up:

  • Monitor and verify the implementation of corrective actions to ensure compliance.

Communication & Meetings:

  • Participate in meetings with relevant departments to share information on company and departmental matters, including other related issues.

Production Decision-Making:

  • Make decisions regarding production control, production stoppage, and product delivery when quality issues are detected.

Reporting:

  • Report abnormalities, problems, and propose solutions to supervisors.
  • Follow up and summarize In-house QC Rejection Reports (8D Reports).
  • 5S & Workplace Management:
  • Maintain 5S standards in the work area.

Operational Support:

  • Provide immediate support or temporarily take over responsibilities when the assigned staff cannot perform their tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Field of Study: Engineering  Major: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Production Engineering, Production Management, or Production Technology
  • Experience Fields: Experience in QA/QC
  • Experience Period: 2–3 years
  • English Skills: Good
  • Computer Skills: Minitab, Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and experience in 8D Report / Root Cause Analysis
  • Proficient in QC 7 Tools
  • Knowledge and application of IATF 16949 Core Tools
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards (if available)
