Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and managing the organization's quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with industry standards such as TISI, IEC, ISO 9001, and ISO/IEC The role oversees the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, while ensuring that all testing and inspection activities—electrical, physical, and safety—are conducted effectively and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee the company's Quality Assurance system in accordance with industry standards such as TISI, IEC, ISO 9001, and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Supervise and ensure quality control of
raw materials
,
in-process products
, and
finished goods
to meet required specifications. - Manage and monitor
testing and inspection processes
for electrical, physical, and safety performance of electric cables. - Track, analyze, and resolve quality issues, including driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with the production team.
- Control and manage
quality KPIs
to achieve monthly and annual targets. - Review and improve
inspection standards, work instructions, and product specifications
. - Lead internal and external audits, including audits from TISI, customers, and certification bodies.
- Strengthen coordination between QA, QC, and Production teams to ensure efficient and consistent product quality.
- Lead, develop, and evaluate the Quality Assurance team to enhance operational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum
5–8 years of experience
in QA/QC in
electric wire and cable manufacturing
or related industries.
At least
3 years of experience
in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of wire and cable standards such as
TISI 11, TISI 2425, IEC
, and related testing methods. - Understanding of Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in computer programs and reporting tools.
