Responsibilities:

Modern Application Development:

  • Develop and maintain integration applications using Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus) or Python (FastAPI, Flask).
  • Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with OWASP and other security standards.
  • Build APIs and microservices that support business workflows and external integrations.

AI Integration & Enablement:

  • Integrate cloud-based LLMs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) into enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to design prompt flows, model interfaces, and intelligent agents.
  • Enable business use cases such as smart assistants, document processing, and decision support.

Cloud, Container & DevOps Practices:

  • Deploy applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Monitor performance, reliability, and security of deployed services.
  • Optimize resource usage and scalability of integration components.

Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure all applications comply with internal and external security policies.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec and Risk teams to align with enterprise governance.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with business analysts, product owners, and architects to gather requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and integration flows.
  • Support change management and training for new integration capabilities.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Explore emerging frameworks and tools to improve development efficiency.
  • Participate in POCs and pilot projects involving AI and automation.
  • Share best practices and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications:

Experience & Background:

  • 7+ years in application development and integration roles.
  • Strong experience with Java or Python and modern frameworks.
  • Proven track record in secure application development and cloud deployment.

AI & Cloud Integration:

  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI APIs into business applications.
  • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar platforms.

Security & Compliance:

  • Knowledge of OWASP, OAuth2, JWT, and enterprise security practices.
  • Experience with secure SDLC and DevSecOps.

Container & Platform Skills

  • Experience developing and deploying applications on Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with container orchestration, Helm charts, and service mesh

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in agile teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
