Job Summary
To design, analyze, and optimize cost structures — particularly rider payment schemes — to achieve a balance between cost efficiency and rider motivation and productivity, ensuring alignment with business goals and sustainable financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cost Optimization & Scheme Design
• Design and evaluate rider payment schemes that align with business strategies and operational behaviors.
• Build and maintain cost simulation models to assess financial impacts and business outcomes of different compensation schemes.
• Continuously refine pricing and payout logic to optimize cost effectiveness while maintaining service quality and rider engagement.
2. Data Analytics & Insights
• Analyze operational and financial data (e.g., delivery cost, productivity, efficiency, cost per order) to identify optimization opportunities.
• Use data insights to recommend cost-saving strategies that do not compromise performance or customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with BI, Data, and Finance teams to develop dashboards for monitoring cost and scheme performance.
3. Governance & Control
• Define and standardize cost calculation principles and payout rules to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Partner with HR and Operations to ensure fair, compliant, and accurate compensation implementation.
• Validate payout formulas, calculations, and system results to ensure integrity of financial data.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Lead pilot tests and scheme experiments in partnership with Operations, Rider Management, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Present analytical findings and business impact reports to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert in cost logic, incentive models, and rider compensation design.
Job Specification
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Minimum 8 –10 years of experience in cost optimization, incentive design, pricing strategy, or business
analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills; capable of scenario modeling and cost simulation.
• Deep understanding of cost drivers in logistics, delivery, or platform-based rider operations preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to partner effectively with both technical and business teams.
