Responsibilities:

  • Identify improvement opportunities, translate them into actionable projects, and align with management to ensure support and commitment.
  • Lead and implement operational excellence initiatives such as cell layout optimization, 5S, Kaizen events, visual management, and value stream mapping (VSM).
  • Drive shop floor transformation projects using Lean principles to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Participate in internal audits and promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate collaboration and effective communication across departments to achieve continuous performance improvement through training sessions, toolbox meetings, and working groups.
  • Interpret and apply Operational Excellence (OPEX) concepts to business situations; develop and deliver relevant training materials for staff.
  • Support customer complaint investigations, ensuring root cause analysis, lessons learned, and implementation of mistake-proofing actions.
  • Promote and communicate the benefits of change initiatives throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Master's degree (preferred). Candidates from other disciplines may be considered with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, continuous improvement, or operational excellence within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in cost reduction projects, process improvement, and shop floor or plant layout design.
  • Strong knowledge and application of Lean tools such as SMED, VSM, line balancing, and shop floor management.
  • Professional-level English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change management projects with measurable business impact.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving, and Six Sigma methodologies; Lean Master or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (for shop floor layout design), MS Office, databases, and specialized software.
  • General understanding of quality systems and improvement techniques.
