About Chromalloy: We are "Manufacturing Operation Repair and Overhaul" aircraft gas turbine engine, HQ in US and our facility in Thailand located in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani.

You can drive only around 30-45 mins from Mega Bang Na or Sukhumvit.

About this position: The basic purpose of this position is to lead the team in terms of materials and consumables purchasing activities including supplier management, delivery and cost management ensure that processes comply with the Policies, Standards and Regulations to achieve delivery and cost effectiveness on time.

Responsibilities:

The Purchasing Team Leader performs all purchasing & subcontract activities including contacting suppliers to obtain relevant information, issuing purchase orders and following up with the suppliers or related departments in issues that occurred, such as:

  • Lead procurement activities for direct material including Parts, Materials, Chemical, Packaging, consumables, supplies and other production related materials.
  • Supplier & Inventory Management.  JIT, Blanket orders, consignment and spot orders.
  • Collaborate with material planning and warehouse team to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with quality, engineering, finance and other relevant departments for achieving department's goal and company's goal.
  • Cost control and PPV management.
  • Lead purchasing supplier management program, sourcing, selection, evaluation and development.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, quality, safety and environmental standards and regulations.
  • Manage supplier performance with focus on On-Time Delivery and Quality.
  • Monitoring and report Purchase Price Variance (PPV) against budget and historical benchmarks.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities through alternate sourcing, long-term agreements, and volumes consolidation.
  • Supervise and develop a team of buyers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processed and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Aviation Management, or any related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Purchasing, Material Control, or any supply chain relevant functions
  • Strong experience in direct material management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Fluent in Thai and English.
  • Leadership & Problem Solving.

Location:

This position will be stationed at Chromalloy Thailand Site, Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani.

Working hours:

The office hours are 07:30 – 17:30 from Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 – 16:30 on Friday.
