Job Purpose:

The Sustainability Officer - Environment is responsible for managing data for Minor International's Greenhouse Gas Inventory and decarbonization plan. This role also supports the company's public disclosure and responses to national and international benchmarks.

As part of the Corporate Sustainability team this position will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of sustainability across Minor International's global operations. This position reports to Senior Sustainability Manager – Environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Corporate Greenhouse Gas Inventory

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to collect data from various Business Units and properties across Minor International's portfolio
  • Calculate Scope 1, 2, and 3 according to GHG Protocol

Environmental Initiatives Implementation

  • Monitor and track performance against environmental-related KPIs at property/sites/brand levels
  • Collect and track green CAPEX and OPEX outlays to align investment with performance targets

Sustainability Assessment

  • Conduct compliance against MINT's sustainability requirements including but not limited to environmental, occupational health and safety, labor practices, and supply chain.
  • Keep up-to-date applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards to ensure company's and its suppliers' compliances and continual improvement against those laws, regulations and standards

Sustainability Disclosure

  • Sustainability Report in accordance with IFRS, GRI, CSRD, and other relevant standards.
  • National and international questionnaires e.g. CDP, FTSE4Good, MSCI, SET Sustainability Award, continually improve company performances on environment.

Qualifications
:

  • Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
  • Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate to all levels

  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to foster trust relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

Education
:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environment, or related fields. Master's Degree in related fields is a plus.

Experience
:

  • New graduate with knowledge of greenhouse accounting or
  • 1 – 3 year experiences in sustainability, engineering, environment implementation compliance and/or audits
