Our client is a leading automobile parts supplier to the world's automotive manufacturers.

This role is responsible for procuring indirect goods and services, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring cost-efficient, high-quality supply of indirect materials. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing supplier agreements related to cost, quality, warranty, and other purchasing conditions.
  • Observe and analyze the Thai market for indirect materials and service providers.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with management and internal departments to ensure efficient information flow and timely execution.
  • Handle purchasing requirements for both internal and external projects.
  • Solicit quotations, compare proposals, and assess supplier offers based on pricing, quality, delivery reliability, and technological capability.
  • Implement cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct cost-analysis activities to identify savings opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Define and support the strategic direction of assigned commodities.
  • Oversee supplier management and ensure accurate maintenance of supplier and contract records in PIP.
  • Contribute to make-or-buy evaluations and recommendations.
  • Promote and drive continuous process improvement (CIP) initiatives.
  • Participate as a member of the Sourcing Committee.
  • Achieve departmental performance targets.
  • Enhance and streamline purchasing processes and workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • Experience in sourcing indirect materials or production equipment is an advantage.
  • Background in supplier management, cost analysis, or contract negotiation is highly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems or procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or PIP system) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Good communication skills in Thai and English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
