Job Title: Finance General Manager (Experience in a Factory/ Manufacturing Environment)

Location: Summit Group (Domestic & Overseas Operations)

Job Summary

The Finance General Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all financial functions of the organization at both domestic and international levels. This role requires solid hands-on experience in a factory/manufacturing environment, with strong understanding of production operations, cost structures, and operational finance.

The position plays a strategic role in supporting business growth, managing financial risks, enhancing cost efficiency, and ensuring financial governance across both local and overseas operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate goals and manufacturing operations in Thailand and overseas
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to top management, providing insights on factory performance, cost structures, and international business operations
  • Support strategic decisions related to expansion, joint ventures, overseas investments, and cross-border operations

Manufacturing & Factory Finance Management

  • Oversee factory finance operations, including production costing, standard costing, BOM costing, and variance analysis
  • Monitor manufacturing costs (raw materials, labor, overhead, scrap, yield, and efficiency) and drive cost improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with factory management, production, and supply chain teams to improve operational efficiency and profitability

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Control

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for domestic and overseas entities
  • Consolidate financial performance across multiple factories or countries
  • Establish strong financial controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accountability

Accounting, Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Manage consolidation of financial statements for group-level reporting
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors across different countries

Treasury, Tax & International Finance

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements for both domestic and overseas operations
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance, including BOI, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax matters
  • Manage foreign exchange exposure and mitigate financial risks related to international operations

Internal Control & Risk Management

  • Establish and maintain strong internal control systems across factories and overseas subsidiaries
  • Identify financial and operational risks and implement effective mitigation measures
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams in both local and overseas locations
  • Build strong collaboration between finance, production, supply chain, and corporate teams
  • Promote a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree or MBA is an advantage
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with proven experience in a manufacturing / factory environment
  • Direct experience working with both domestic and overseas operations (factories or subsidiaries)
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory control, and operational finance
  • Experience in group consolidation, international reporting, and cross-border financial management
