Job description:

Summary

STERIS is expanding its footprint in Thailand, and we are creating a new commercial role to lead the next phase of growth in one of Southeast Asia's most important healthcare markets.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and successfully executing the commercial strategy for STERIS healthcare medical devices, services, and distributor sales channels within Thailand. This role involves managing relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, and internal teams, to drive revenue growth and enhance market presence. You will have a strong background in commercial management within the healthcare sector, particularly in medical devices, and will demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills. You will also be responsible for Profit & Loss of the territory.

What You Will Do

* Market Research and AnalysisConduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends in Thailand.

* Analyse competitive landscapes and regulatory requirements specific to the Thai medical device market.

* Strategic Planning:Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and expand market presence.

* Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments.

* Responsible for the Profit & Loss of the Country for all HealthCare products. Pursue business activities that will increase the overall profit of the area.

* Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, and regulatory bodies.

* Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and product development to align business objectives

* Sales and Revenue Generation:Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.

* Manage the sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.

* Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about local regulations and ensure all business activities comply with Thai medical device regulations.

* Liaise with regulatory authorities to facilitate product approvals and certifications.

* Marketing and Promotion:Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote medical devices in the Thai market.

* Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.

* Reporting and Analysis:Provide regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and performance metrics.

* Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies and make necessary adjustments.

* Customer Support:Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.

* Provide training and support to customers on the use of medical devices.
