Samsonite (Thailand) is seeking an Accounting Officer / Senior Accounting Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract (approximately 7 months) to cover a maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities


• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) activities


• Verifying all invoices (non-PO), in which the billing is due on day 5 to 6 of every month


• Ensuring rental and other service bills are recorded timely and accurately while adhering to department procedures


• Paying and keeping record of all invoices, and tax payment, SSO, and other payments


• Recording and uploading petty cash expenses and other expenses in the AP system


• Handling full loop of payment process, such as cheque preparation, transaction payment input in Entry Kit – SCB bank system, and issuing withholding tax certificate


• Checking and reconciliating variable rent to comply with the contract


• Controlling utility fees within the office, e.g. telephone, water, etc.


• Calculating and allocating the transportation of GIC in directly of cost center


• Controlling the tax filing input

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field


• Experience in AP accounting at Officer – Senior Officer level


• Good MS Excel skills


• Detail-oriented and well-organized


• Able to work on a contract basis
