About the role

Join the Contract Logisitcs/ SCM team at DSV x Schenker (Thai) Ltd., a leading global logistics provider, as an Officer, Inventory Control. In this full-time position based in Bangkok, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and control of the company's inventory, supporting the overall logistics operations.

General Description:

  • Execute and manage day to day inventory process in order to ensure accurate inventory, compliance of FIFO (First In First Out) product rules, and compliance of the quality specification.
  • Directing operations resources to continuously check storage locations for system and physical reconciliation of inventory balance, right quantity/quality of product shipment and the accuracy recording of product transactions to support customer requirements.
  • There is also cover for warehousing process control and people management, focusing on handling, KPIs of stock accuracy, together with continuous improvement, safety and security in the accordance to the compliance.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and analyse inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and identify discrepancies
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory updates
  • Prepare periodic stock reports and provide recommendations for inventory optimisation
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues
  • Participate in cycle counts and physical audits to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, engineering, or logistics management.
  • 0-2 years working experience in operational and logistics environment (Welcome for new graduated)
  • Able to work in 6 days/ week
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address inventory discrepancies
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
  • Knowledge in ISO, Audit, and quality system in advantage.
  • Good in Excel to manage a lot of data.
